Wow, cutting edge cold war technology! It does make one wonder why they don't simply continue to buy tanks from Russia. There must be some sort of behind-the-scenes political maneuvering going on in Iran.
FWIW, I heartily endorse the idea of rogue regimes building their own weapons of war rather than buying decent technology. Imagine the craptastic stuff that North Korea could produce!
