  • Ice loss

For me, it's case to say, did anyone had a question about this, but apparently yes, many still don't related the weather changes to the loss of ice in the Arctic.

Rapid Arctic ice loss linked to extreme weather changes in Europe and US

Global Warming is definitely responsible for this. Here in the U.S., winter has been brutal for the past 4 years. The jet stream carries this cold air all over, especially to the east coast.

Not just in Europe and US but here in Asia as well. The heat wave in India has killed scores of people. And the monsoon is nowhere to be seen. This is all linked to Global Warming.

It really is unfortunate how many people still don't believe Global Warming is a real thing. It really makes me wonder what the world will look like a few decades, especially around the equator.

weather is NOT climate change. Local is not global.

At least in my 50+ years on the planet, it is more about cycles and FUD....in the US it is now "Climate change"...Global Warming has ceased to be for a number of reasons, largest of which...is the "warming" cycle is NOT warming as was expected by some of the stat scientists - things are stalled for the past couple of years and no longer matches the hype and hope, much like the "coming ice age" of the 70's never happened.

Why would the equatorial area suffer more than the rest of the planet, if it is in fact, GLOBAL Warming?

Too much dependence on models and speculation, and rejecting of history and what has happened in the past. There is not a single computer model that given the data of the past, can play back what has happened in that past. Just like the weather forecast for any given area or time frame is about 50% accurate. There are just too many chaotic components to the system, and when science only focuses on a very few of those, many of which are advantageous to the model, ignoring the rest of the inputs....you get what we have. FUD.

I have read an article about the melting icecaps in the north pole. When a big part of the icecaps would melt, the sea level would rise and flood low lying countries like The Netherlands. That is one aspect of Al Gore's campaign on climate change. Aside from the global warming where median temperatures are on the rise, the sea level will also be rising. And what happens when the rate of change continuous? We may be living in a so called Waterworld.

Please explain why many Greek and Roman structures that were built during an obviously very warm period of time disappeared under water during the Little Ice Age. That would seem to indicate a completely different result than what Al Gore preaches. Also, speaking of that blowhard, wouldn't you think that if he truly believed everything he said he would want to purchase a home at a higher elevation? He sure doesn't seem concerned about the low elevation of his huge house. He seems far more concerned about his bank account!

One of the Disaster in recent times increasing is Ice melting in Antarctica or other places. This due to Global Warming. One and only reason for melting is change in the climate due to over useage of things or products. As melting point of Ice is 0 or 273k that causes over flow of water in oceans and causes floods and Tsunami to many places in the world. So we need to take care all the precaution steps to maintain the conditions normal or not getting worst.
