Human trafficking is taking new faces in India. It is on the rise day by day. Even Government and police authorities are not in a position to control this grave danger effectively. Thousands and thousands of teenagers (boys and girls) are being trafficked from villages and then they are sold as domestic workers or prostitutes. What is more surprising is that in some cases this happens with the consent of family members. Extreme poverty coupled with lack of education force them to do this.

It gives a little hope that nowadays Government has taken various measures to curb this. One of the important steps was to ensure minimum wage system for people in rural India. You will be suprised to know that there are more than 5000 domestic worker placement agencies operating in New Delhi, capital of India!
